Extra Padding for Extra Comfort
18mm of plush padding to be exact. The Smanie EX series saddle comes with ample padding in the sit-bone region and on the nose, to give you extra comfort in a medium posture riding position that most adventure riders use.

Featuring a generous cut-out with soft edges to facilitate blood flow and limit numbness the EX is 267mm long by 155 mm wide – not too short and not too wide.

Smanie AT (All-Terrain)
Does riding endless miles of single track or gravel roads sound like the best day on the bike? This short, off-road specific saddle has just enough padding and base flex to make this a go-to choice for your enduro bike, gravel bike or even your cross country bike. It has that first touch softness appeal, but doesn’t create hotspots on long rides. If you enjoy a medium riding posture, this saddle is for you.
Soft First Touch, All Day Support
The AT saddle utilizes a high-end EVA foam that allows the saddle to be thinner and lighter, but still gives it a soft first touch that inspires confidence you need to head out for those epic adventures. Most of the time a saddle that is too soft translates to hot-spots or discomfort on 3 hour plus rides, not the AT. The EVA foam used was designed specifically to resist deformation at 3 hours and beyond.

The base features a cut-out to help increase base flexibility and reduce the pressure on the perineum area. The shape is short enough that getting behind the saddle while descending is easy, and the slope from front to back creates a clear hammock area that provides comfort and relief. AT is 252mm long by 142 mm wide – not too short and not too wide.

The AT has a classic understated look that makes it clear choice for anyone that wants to keep the focus on the bike itself. Black saddle, black graphics keep the saddle simple yet stylish. That doesn’t mean the saddle isn’t packed with features. The rear portion of the saddle features protection in the event of crashes, so your saddle doesn’t rip the first time you hit the deck. The base features a cut-out to add pressure relief and more base flex and the rails bend is elevated to ensure the base doesn’t contact your seat post bolts when the things get rough and the base is flexing to keep you comfortable.

Smanie DRS
Sleek and aerodynamic – the DRS is designed for riders with an aggressive riding style who prefer a more curved geometry on the edges of the saddle. It is for those who are always pushing the limit in the breakaway and demand that their equipment performs at the same level they do. If you love an aggressive riding posture, but like saddles that allow added pedaling efficiency from curved edges this is the saddle for you.
Large Cut Out, Rolled Edges
The DRS is a racers saddle. It utilizes a large cut out from back to front to give the rider the ability to get as arrow as possible with full pelvic rotation without sacrificing comfort in the perineum area. Wider saddles have always been a double-edged sword. They provide a large platform to allow the rider to put down maximum power, but many times lead to bruising on the back of riders legs on longer rides. The rolled edges of the DRS allow for those who are pushing speed to the limits to have full leg extension through the pedal stroke and reduce the amount the wider sit-bone area of the saddle comes in contact with the hamstring muscle.

The DRS is the evolution of the modern style racing saddle. It’s sleek lines beg for speed. It is short, yet long enough that the profile of the saddle creates a clear area for the sit-bones to rest. It takes the thought out of which position is best a powerful riding posture by creating a clearly defined due to the gentle slope from the rear to the middle section of the saddle. The DRS is 247mm long by 145 mm wide – short, sleek and speed oriented.

Smanie Apex
The inside line, coming in hot – the Apex is designed for riders with an aggressive riding style. It is for those who are just as at home in a criterium race as they are sending the steeps on their XC or trail bike. If you love an aggressive riding posture, this saddle is for you. The use of ETPU + Gel padding means that the Apex is ideal for long days in the saddle. The Apex features a short-nose that is designed to keep the rider in the sweet spot and eliminates the need to shift positions on the saddle.
Wide Platform, Gently Sloping Profile
The wide and flat platform at rear portion of the saddle gives the rider the perfect perch for maximum stability while putting down huge efforts. The Apex is the evolution of the GP series. It takes the classic flat profile of the GP and introduces a gentle slope from back to front that puts the rider into the power position. It also utilizes a large cut out from back to front to give the rider the ability to get as aero as possible with full pelvic rotation without sacrificing comfort in the perineum area.

The Apex has incorporates ETPU + Gel padding to allow for the thinnest padding profile but, yet still offer support when rides are beyond the 3-hour mark. This saddle incorporates our newest and best vibration dampening technologies including our proprietary Nylon blended base that allows for maximum compliance while still remaining supportive when the terrain gets rough.
